Topic:  Variable Frequency Drives: How Can They Work for You?

Presentation Synopsis:  

This presentation will cover variable frequency drives (VFDs) and safety with a brief description of how they function, and go on to show how VFDs save energy and how they are controlled.  It will also discuss several applications in the HVAC and plumbing fields for use.

Speaker: Joshua Garren

Joshua Garren has been a field service technician for Delta Automation for over 18 years, specializing in variable frequency drives and controls. He has worked in many roles, including equipment integration, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair, and installation throughout his tenure. Josh is a veteran of the US Navy, where his work on electronic and computer systems supported the USS Harry S Truman battle group during Operation Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom.
